Hochland established the vegan-focused E.V.A. unit this spring. The group said the vegan category in Germany was “an interesting market segment with growth potential” and argued there are a “limited range of goods” available for vegan consumers.
E.V.A. is located in the German town of Oberreute, a town in southern Germany close to the Austrian border. Hochland’s head office is in Heimenkirch, some 10km north.
