The factory has European machinery of the type hitherto used for producing almond and hazelnut products for similar use – dicers, colour-sorters, roasters, etc. The factory also has quality assurance systems including metal-detection and dust-aspiration systems and follows HACCP principles.
Products include plain and dry-roasted diced cashews, while future plans include production of cashew paste, slivers and slices.
Western India Cashew Company is an ISO 9002-certified cashew company, and says it is a preferred supplier to Seeberger, Lorenz-Bahlsen and Felix in Germany, Kyuritsu in Japan, Imko and Duvyis in the Netherlands and Planters and Ann’s House of Nuts in the USA, beside leading nut-importing companies all over the world.
