The Food Corporation of India is currently at the centre of a probe ordered by the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu.
According to The Hindu, reports have been received with allegations that the company misused, diverted and recycled rice stocks meant for Food-for-work programme.
Naidu asked the Ranga Reddy Collector, Ajay Jain, to conduct a detailed enquiry into the rice scam.
