Kellogg’s India launched Chocos biscuits in 1998 as an extension to its already existing cereal brand of the same name in what was seen as a surprise move by many industry observers because of the different kind of distribution network required.
K. Venkatachelam, managing director of Kellogg’s India, told Business Line: “We have stopped manufacturing biscuits and do not intend selling them any more. Our main focus will be on our cereals.”
