Punjab Agri Export Corp., a semi-government organisation floated by the State Government, plans to set up a Food Park, and is seeking a partner.

The food park is expected to have an automated nursery, post harvest handling, grading and waxing, cold chain, and ripening chambers, plus service facilities such as test lab, library and info centre, and marketing centre. Cost expected US$4.2m of which US$2.1m has to be raised jointly as equity.
