Inventure Foods has launched the TGI Fridays Happy Hour Snack Mixes in the US, under license with TGI Fridays.
The snacks feature nuts, pretzels crackers and seeds and are available in four variants: Cheddar Bacon; Sriracha; Sweet Barbeque and Sweet and Spicy.
The launch is a response from Inventure Foods to growing snack demand. TGI Fridays Happy Hour Snack Mixes represent a shift into a new category for the licensing partnership between the two firms. THe partnership began 15 years ago with the launch of TGI Fridays Potato Skins snack chip line.
"We've demonstrated remarkable consistency in our ability to develop successful new products under the TGI Fridays banner, and we've often pushed the envelope of bold flavours in the process," said Steve Sklar, senior vice president and general manager for Inventure Foods, Inc. "These mixes are no exception – in fact, we believe they perfectly hit the intersection of salty, sweet and spicy."
TGI Fridays Happy Hour Snack Mixes are s available in 2.65-ounce and 6-ounce pouches. They appear in select grocery and convenience stores nationwide beginning this month with a suggested retail price of US$2.99 and $4.99, respectively.
