Israeli retailer Blue Square has announced the resignation of one its directors.
The company, which runs over 180 supermarkets in Israel, said Erez Meltzer resigned on Monday (31 December).
The retailer gave its “appreciation and thanks” to Meltzer, who had been a director since August 2006.
The departure of Meltzer came just a fortnight after Blue Square’s CEO Zeev Kalimi resigned after just two months in the job.
Kalimi joined Blue Square from Israeli dairy group Milko Industries in October.
