Israeli food importer G. Willi-Food International has announced the launch of two new food lines in the Israeli market.

The company said its goal, with the launch of new healthy breakfast cereals and margarine, will be to capture a market share of 20% of each category within a year.

Willi-Food said it recently introduced to the Israeli market three types of breakfast cereals produced by the Hahne company in Germany, including Fruti Flakes – cornflakes coated with sugar and strawberries, Wellance – cornflakes for health-conscious consumers, and Cornflakes – with seven vitamins, low fat and no cholesterol, with no artificial preservatives or colourings.

Willi-Food has also brought to market two types of margarine – butter-flavoured and unsalted – with reduced trans fatty acids and with no cholesterol, under the brand name Margarine Plus.
