Kaplan said that the group’s revenues in 2001 amounted to NIS581m (US$123.6m) compared with NIS5i6m (US$109.7 m) in 2000. Tivall is the country’s leading manufacturer of soy-based vegetarian meals, and following the foot and mouth and BSE diseases in Europe, sales soared both in Europe and in North America.
Kaplan added that the company’s aim is to reach an annual average growth of 15% “and double our business volume within 4-5 years.”
