A report in Globes says that Osem’s VP for Finance Pinhas Kimelman, who confirmed the report, maintained that “the infant formula market is interesting. Osem has the capabilities and potential, and we are seriously considering it.”

Osem’s VP added that the Remedia affair will not affect or determine Osem’s strategy, noting that “Osem makes long term strategic decisions.” The company, he added, examines this sector just like any other in which Osem can create a synergy with Nestlé.

Osem is 50.1% owned by Swiss food giant Nestlé.
