Israeli firm Retalix Ltd, a provider of integrated enterprise-wide software solutions for the retail food industry, has named Jeffrey E. Yelton as CEO of Retalix Inc., the firm’s US subsidiary.
Yelton will oversee the software designer’s entire US operations and report directly to Retalix Ltd’s CEO and president, Barry Shaked, effective 1 August.
“We are delighted that Yelton has agreed to accept the position of CEO of Retalix Inc.,” said Shaked: “This is an important appointment for Retalix as we seek to capitalise on our growing presence in the US arena. Sales in this marketplace now account for over 60% of our total revenues.”
Yelton joins Retalix from Kyrus Corporation, IBM Corporation’s largest provider of Point of Sale systems.
Yelton said: “Retalix has been enjoying a period of sustained growth throughout the US. I am looking forward to the challenge of continuing the impressive growth trajectory in this key region and building on the enviable reputation that Retalix has forged in the marketplace.”
