Iglo Group has restarted production at its Findus manufacturing facility in Cisterna, Italy, after a fire at the plant disrupted operations.
A spokesperson for the company told just-food a “small fire” broke out at a cold store on the site on Sunday morning (24 August). However, production resumed on Monday afternoon.

“Investigations are underway to try to ascertain the cause of the fire,” the spokesperson said. “Nobody was injured in the incident that was quickly dealt with by the local fire brigade. Production at the plant re-started on Monday afternoon following standard security and safety checks.”
