Collapsed Italian dairy firm Parmalat SpA CEO has indicated that it could exceed financial targets it has set for 2007, reported AFX news service.


According to the reports, which cited Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper, EBITDA margin for the 2007 financial year could exceed the targeted 11% of sales, against the 9% expected for 2006.


Parmalat SpA CEO Enrico Bondi reportedly told the newspaper: “We are confident on the 2007 targets, that ought to be exceeded because Parmalat is a healthy and strong company, with acceptable profitability, which can be improved.”
