Japanese supermarket company Aeon plans to open around 100 stores in the next fiscal year starting in March. The planned stores, which will bring the total number of Aeon stores to 1,000, represent a record high number of openings in one year for the retailer. The company plans to open 83 Maxvalu grocery stores and 18 supermarkets in the year, reported Dow Jones International News.
