Japan has reportedly confirmed the country’s first case of BSE in cattle raised for meat, taking its total tally to 24.
According to the report, by AFX news agency, the slaughtered cow was 14 years old and had given birth to 10 calves at a farm in Nagasaki, Kyushu.
