The venture will bulk-deliver food and liquor products to wholesalers, lowering the frequency of deliveries and cutting costs by 10% compared with conventional direct shipments from manufacturers, reported the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.

The new business will construct a distribution centre with over 10,000 sq metres of floor space in Gunma Prefecture next spring. Goods will be collected from the production facilities of around ten processed food and beverage makers.
