Japanese convenience store giant Seven-Eleven Japan Co revealed earlier today [Tuesday] that it will pay a dividend one yen above expectations for the latest business year that ended in February.

Shareholders will now receive annual dividends of ¥33 (US$0.25) per share rather than the previously announced ¥32.


According to a report in the Jiji Press, term-end dividends will total ¥17, also up from the previously estimated ¥16.
