John Menzer, CEO of Wal-Mart’s international division, said the company would install its Retail Link information system in eight Seiyu stores on a trial basis by September, reported Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
The system is said to make production and inventory management more efficient through cooperation with Seiyu and its business partners.
