
Kerry Group is to launch frozen Paxo and Sharwood’s products in the UK through a tie-up with the brands’ owner, Premier Foods plc.
The Ireland-based company’s UK arm Kerry Foods will roll out Paxo frozen stuffing balls next month, marking the brand’s first move into the frozen aisle. The manufacturers have also decided to add frozen rice to the Sharwood’s range.

Kerry sales director Mark Boyle said: “Targeted at today’s busy consumers looking to cook the full meal experience, Paxo and Sharwood’s new frozen veg and accompaniments will help shoppers create hassle-free homemade meals, whilst offering quality from brands they can trust.”
A bag of 12 frozen stuffing balls will be available for a recommended retail selling price of GBP1.50 (US$2.44) per 300g bag.
There is a range of six Sharwood’s frozen rice products, including egg fried rice and biryani rice. Two pouches of rice are available in each 380g pack, which has a recommended price of GBP1.75.
