Latvian confectioner and pastry producer Staburadze has reported net profits worth 47,760 lats (US$79,262) for the month of July. This reveals a clear improvement on July 2001, when the company reported net losses 109,000 lats. Export volumes nearly tripled, while domestic sales rose 39%, including cookies up 58% and wafe products up 28%.
