The European Union Council of Ministers has scrapped another unlimited duty free sugar import quota for a Balkan country, voting to limit such export opportunities for Macedonia to 7,000 tonnes.
This is the latest in a series of such limits on formerly unlimited Balkan quotas, previously exploited by fraudsters re-exporting imported sugar.
