Former Hershey executive David Sugarman has been appointed president and CEO of kosher foods firm The Manischewitz Co.

Sugarman was previously president and CEO of Hershey's The Allan Candy Co. He has also served as the country manager in Canada of PepsiCo and Strauss Group's dipping business, Sabra. He succeeds interim CEO Mark Weinsten.
