Cristobal Mondragon is to retire as CEO of Mexican poultry group Industrias Bachoco after nine years in the job.
Mondragon, 65, joined Bachoco in 1982 and has been its chief executive since 2001.
From Monday (1 November), Bachoco’s CEO will be Rodolfo Ramos, the company’s technical managing director.
Ramos first joined Bachoco in 1980 and has held roles in production, purchasing and in Bachoco’s egg division.
Chairman Javier Bours said: “We would like to thank Mondragon for his work and dedication to the company during nearly thirty years. Under his leadership, the Company continued to grow and constantly improve. He leaves a solid company ready to face future challenges.”
