Associated British Foods has announced that it has completed its acquisition of the food oils and fats brands of Unilever in Mexico.

The companies announced on 9 March 2004 that the Mexican arm of Anglo-Dutch consumer products giant Unilever had agreed to sell its edible oils and white fats business to a Mexican subsidiary of ABF for US$110m in cash.
The deal includes Unilever’s Capullo bottled canola oil brand, the Mazola edible oil brand and the Inca white fat brand.
