Nestle CFO Wan Ling Martello is to lead the country's businesses in Asia, Oceania and Africa after Nandu Nandkishore decided to take early retirement.
Martello, who joined Nestle from Wal-Mart in 2011, will become executive vice president of the company's Zone AOA division on 1 May.
Nandkishore started at Nestle in India in 1989 and has had roles including leading the company's operations in Indonesia and then the Philippines. In 2010, he was appointed to Nestle's executive board, where he first served as global head of the group's infant nutrition arm before taking on his current job.
Nestle CEO Paul Bulcke said: "We respect Nandu Nandkishore's decision and thank him for his dedicated service and important contributions over the last 26 years. I have always valued his total commitment to our company and what we stand for. We wish him all the best for his future.
"Since joining Nestle, Wan Ling Martello has successfully integrated into the company and has from the start made important contributions to its success. Her vast financial and operational experience in the FMCG industry, both from the manufacturing and retail angles, make her uniquely suited to lead Zone AOA into the future.
