Gerber is expanding its line of Lil’ Bits baby food in the US with the introduction of Lil’ Bits Dinners.
The company said the “new category” within Lil’ Bits provides babies with soft chunks of food that help develop chewing and “delivers the nutrition” that many parents are seeking.

“As part of our mission to train tiny mouths to conquer big chewing challenges, we launched Lil’ Bits Dinners to mimic the savoury items often served at dinnertime,” said Aileen Stocks, chief marketing officer. “That’s why we’re so excited to introduce Dinners as part of the Lil’ Bits recipes line—we’re providing that next step for children who are on their way to table food.”
Previous Lil’ Bits products had focused on fruits and vegetables. The new Dinners flavours include: chicken itty-bitty noodle, garden vegetable and beef, autumn vegetable and turkey, mac and cheese, herbed vegetable, pasta and chicken, roasted vegetable and chicken as well as carrot peas and corn.
