Troubled Dutch retailer Royal Ahold has announced that Dirk Anbeek, currently chief financial officer of ICA Ahold, has been appointed chief financial officer of Ahold Europe, effective 15 August.
Michaël Korridon, currently chief financial officer of ICA Baltics, has been appointed as Anbeek’s successor, effective 1 June 2003.

Ahold nominated Arjan Both as managing director AMS Marketing Service. His appointment is pending the approval of the AMS Supervisory Board and shareholders. Both is currently senior vice president of marketing & format management at Albert Heijn. Previously, he was vice president of Ahold European sourcing.
Sander van der Laan, currently CEO of Gall & Gall, has been appointed senior vice president of marketing & format management at Albert Heijn.
Felix Fernandez, currently managing director AMS, has been appointed vice president of merchandising execution peninsula at Ahold Supermercados in Spain.
In addition, Ahold has proposed the nomination of Maarten Dorhout Mees as CEO of Gall & Gall. Dorhout Mees is currently chief financial officer Ahold Europe. Van der Laan will remain responsible for Gall & Gall until 1 August 2003.
