The NMa approval is subject certain to conditions, Ahold said, including the company committing to the sale of at least seven but no more than nine stores.

The stores to be sold are located in Almere, Beilen, The Hague, Delft, Maassluis, Tiel and Zoetermeer and are currently operating under either the Albert Heijn or C1000 banner.

Ahold expects the transaction to be completed with Laurus within a “short period of time”. When the deal is competed the conversion of the Konmar stores into Albert Heijn and C1000 supermarkets formats will commence.
