In an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, a board member of major retailer Royal Ahold revealed that the group is aiming to establish a presence in France within the next three years.
Jan Andrea said that Ahold is also considering establishing outlets in the UK and Germany, although France remains the favourite for expansion.
