Naouri is to step down from the Laurus board on 30 November. Laurus, the second largest retail group in the Netherlands, said it would be taking steps to fill the vacancy in accordance with its relevant procedures.
Casino, the French supermarket group, owns a 45% stake in Laurus. Naouri’s departure from the Dutch firm’s board has prompted speculation that Casino could look to sell its interest in the business.
