NETHERLANDS: Friesland Coberco unit Borculo set to lay off 90 employees.
Dutch dairy company Borculo Domo Ingredients, a subsidiary of Dutch Friesland Coberco Dairy Foods, is to lay off 90 of its 257 employees by 2005. The lay offs are part of Coberco’s programme aimed at reducing costs by cutting the number of its milk suppliers. The company aims to try to move the 90 employees to its other subsidiaries, reported the Dutch News Digest.
