Dutch dairy products maker Royal Friesland Foods has appointed André Boudewijns as its new chief financial officer with effect from 1 May 2005.

In this position, André Boudewijns will be responsible for the corporate finance and accounting, treasury, procurement affairs, and Information and communication technology departments, the company said.
André Boudewijns has extensive experience of finance in the food industry. He was chief financial officer and later executive vice oresident and chief operating officer of Business Unit Europe at the confectionery group Perfetti Van Melle N.V. in Breda.
