Perfect Finishing, the company formerly known as Super Confex, has filed the legal claim against Laurus.


In a summons dated 2 August, Perfect Finishing claimed damages of EUR6.9m (US$9.5m) against Laurus on the grounds of failure to complete the sale of the two Konmar stores.


Laurus said it “refutes and contests” the claim and has placed the matter in the hands of its lawyers, adding that the lawsuit will have no affect on its day-to-day operations.
