Laurus NV is remaining tight-lipped over the sale of two of its supermarket chains, despite reports in the local press that four parties are in the running to buy the businesses.

A spokesperson for the Dutch supermarket operator told just-food that the company is unwilling to disclose details of the parties who are vying to acquire supermarket chains Edah and Konmar.

Royal Ahold’s subsidiary Albert Heijn and Belgian supermarket chain Etablissementen Franz Colruyt NV are rumoured to be among the top contenders.
