Dutch retailer Laurus NV announced today (26 October) its intention dispose of the in-store off-licenses at Super de Boer stores.

It will sell approximately 20 Super de Boer off-licenses to Koninklijke Distilleerderij M. Dirkzwager BV, owner of interalia the Mitra off-license chain, and close approximately seven of the remaining off-licenses.

The company helps to complete the sale by the beginning of November. The sale will not have an impact on the company’s results, Laurus said.

Laurus and M. Dirkzwager also reached an agreement on the settlement and continuation of existing volume contracts. This settlement is included in Laurus’ restructuring costs, which are estimated at EUR74m (US$93.2m).
