Mr Oomens will be appointed at the general meeting of shareholders on 26 April, 2001.
Pim Oomens (45) will succeed Mr P. (Philippe) J.M. Misteli RA, who has decided to resign to return to France.
In 1989 Pim Oomens joined Royal Numico N.V., at that time named ‘Verenigde Bedrijven Nutricia N.V.’. He started his career within the company as Manager Concern Controlling, took up the position as Financial Controller of Nutricia Overseas and subsequently changed to General Management. At present he is Regional Director Asia and also Deputy Group Director of the Group Asia, Africa and Middle and South America.
