Nutreco said today (29 April) that its poultry revenues climbed 2% during the first quarter of the year – while the Netherlands-based animal nutrition group saw its total revenues fall.

The company’s poultry business benefited from higher prices in Spain and generated revenues of EUR265.6m (US$354m) for the three months to the end of March.
Nutreco’s total sales fell 7% to EUR1.04bn, with grain and soya prices lower on the year.
