Dutch supermarket chain Schuitema has appointed Theo Janssen its new CFO.

Schuitema, which is 73%-owned by Dutch retail giant Ahold, said Janssen has broad experience in the financial field in both retail and non-retail companies, and has also worked as CFO of a number of listed companies.
Janssen, 44, was formerly chief financial officer of IT firm Getronics NV and a management board member at SNS Bank and US consumer goods group Procter & Gamble.
Schuitema runs the C1000 stores in the Netherlands.
