Dutch food company CSM has said it has agreed to buy UK-based Readi-bake for €28m (US$31.6m) from US food firm Country Home Bakers.

Readi-bake makes American-style cookies and has annual sales of around €22m. It employs 80 staff.
CSM said the takeover of Readi-bake, which CSM said is a profitable and growing company, would have an immediate positive effect on the Dutch company’s earnings per share, reported the Dutch News Digest.
