The meat industry in New Zealand has announced that it is set to spend NZ$500,000 on an advertising campaign for national television. The Beef and Lamb Marketing Bureau revealed that consumers, confused about the safety of meat with the plethora of news items and negative reports on the state of the European meat production, needed to be reassured that NZ’s meat is safe to eat.
