New Zealand dairy products giant Fonterra has reportedly said it is close to acquiring a stake in a major Chinese dairy processor.
Patrick Kwok, head of Fonterra Ingredients China, said a deal with Shijiazhuang Sanlu was close to being completed, Dow Jones reported, citing local newspapers.
A spokesman for Fonterra said that talks are continuing but declined to give any further details.
