NEW ZEALAND: Fonterra shareholders council members elected
Fourteen farmer members have been elected to the shareholders council of New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra. It was intended that the candidates be selected following elections in ten wards, but in eight wards the number of candidates was the same as the number of seats, so no elections were held in those wards.
