In a statement issued earlier today [Tuesday] chairman Sam Robinson explained that following Milne, the company hopes to make a permanent appointment to replace outgoing CEO John Loughlin, who will continue in a special executive role until 31 October.

“It is an appointment that gives certainty to the company, its shareholders and to the outgoing CEO, John Loughlin, given an uncertain timeframe and the inevitability of an interim appointment at some stage,” he said.

Milne, former CEO of Bonlac Foods, “has experience in product development, production and marketing,” Robinson said.
