Norwegian fish giant Domstein has reported that its April to June Q2 2002 saw a turnaround in its fortunes, with operating profit reaching NKr132m (US$17.5m) compared to an operating loss of NKr2.2m in the Q2 2001. Q2 turnover rose to NKr663m for 2002 from NKr496m year on year.

Q2 turnover rose to NKr663m for 2002 from NKr496m year on year.
According to a report in iMarkedet, the company’s operating result actually includes a gain of NKr165m from the sale of its Belgian seafood processing subsidiary Pieters.
