Vietnamese dairy manufacturer Nutifood has formed a joint venture with Australian peer ViPlus Dairy to co-found a new “international” brand.
Named ViPlus Nutritional Australia, the JV introduces GippsNature, a brand owned jointly by Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy.
GippsNature will be launched as an “international premium nutritional brand” embodying Australia’s “nature-first” philosophy, the companies said in a statement.
ViPlus Dairy CEO Jon McNaught said: “ViPlus Dairy and Nutifood come from two different cultural backgrounds, yet we share a common goal, to develop some of the most nutritional, high quality milk formula products for Vietnam and other global markets with our new brand identity GippsNature.
“Together, with Vietnam our key focus, we will develop a range of nutritional products that will provide Vietnam families with quality, wholefood nutrition underpinned by Australian reputation for quality and food safety.”
The brand will focus on nutritional products spanning all life stages, from children and adults to elderly consumers, along with nutritional supplements.
