US group Dole Food Co. has launched a snacks range in New Zealand.

Dole Crunches contain nuts, seeds and fruit pieces and have been developed to give snackers a more appetising option, the company said.

“They really are a delicious snack and perfect for sharing with friends or family,” Mat Hamlin, marketing manager at Pavé Brands, Dole’s local agent, said. “Some people aren’t keen on the taste of plain nuts and let’s face it they can be a little boring.”

Dole Crunches – available in three flavours – come in 120g packs at a recommended price of NZ$4.99.
