Unilever Pakistan, a unit of Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant Unilever, has said it plans to sell its edible oil business to the local Westbury group of companies.

Unilever Pakistan said the deal was likely to be finalised in the next few weeks, and the company will then seek shareholders approval, reported Dow Jones International News.
The company said late last year that it planned to sell the edible oil business, which includes the well-known Dalda brand, as part of its strategy to focus on core brands.
