PepsiCo has taken its UK crisp brand Walkers Sensations into savoury biscuits.

The launch of Walkers Sensations Crispy Thins follow similar moves from Mondelez International with its Ritz brand and United Biscuits with Jacob's.

The baked crackers are available in three flavours – Thai Sweet Chilli, Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle, and Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Vinegar – and sold in sharing bags. They have an RSP of GBP1.99.

Last month, United Biscuits announced the launch of Jacob's Cracker Crisps.

In April, Mondelez launched the "baked, light" Ritz Crisp & Thin range as the Cadbury owner signalled an intention to grow its presence in savoury snacks.

PepsiCo, meanwhile, has also added two flavours to its Walkers Sensations crisps range: Moroccan Spices with Sweet Tomato and Gently Infused Lime with Thai Spices.
