Sabra Dipping Company, the joint venture between PepsiCo and Israel's Strauss Group, is introducing Pizza Hummus Singles to its range of dips and spreads.

The company is rolling the two-ounce Pizza Hummus Singles in August. They will be available in a six count package near Sabra's other products in the deli section of national retailers throughout the US. The RRP is US$4.99.

Associate brand manager Rachel Zander said that the single-serve pizza-inspired snacks target kids – or adults on the go – by offering a "healthier" version of pizza flavours such as basil and oregano.

"With more than 25m kids snacking every day – and plenty of busy adults, too – Pizza Singles present a better-for-you option in a favourite flavour Americans want," said Zander.
