PERU: McDonald’s to invest US$12m in Peru expansion
US fastfood giant McDonald's has revealed plans to invest US$12m in the expansion of its Lima chain of restaurants in Peru. The burger behemoth revealed that in the long term, it hoped to grow the business by opening branches in other parts of the country. In the meantime, the chain will be 20-outlets strong by the end of 2002, after the inaugeration of three new restaurants.
